From firefighting to proactive risk management: our week with RIF

We had the privilege of representing Turnip at several RIF events in Oslo. At RIF’s liability-insurance seminar we introduced our startup and the wider problem of design errors in construction.

It was genuinely inspiring to hear leading professionals from firms like CMS Kluge and Selmer share their perspectives on gross negligence claims against consulting engineers and walk us through recent case law.

The next day we were honoured to run a workshop with RIF’s expert group for quality, a sharp and engaged group we look forward to working with more. Together we explored how the industry can move from reactive firefighting to proactive risk management in defect prevention. The feedback we gathered will be invaluable as we keep developing the product.
